WELCOME TO GULF BREEZE FISHING CHARTERS
Our mission is providing every guest with a positively memorable experience on the water. We are all about fishing in a no pressure, no hassle, all positive environment. Fishing and time on the water are precious; we keep the fun factor turned all the way up!
Thanks for considering us for your next adventure.
Safety, Safety, Safety. Our vessels are clean, reliable, and well-maintained. Each has modern navigation equipment and emergency gear as required by the USCG. It’s highly unlikely we’ll need them, but we have Type 1 lifejackets for everybody aboard.
We Love to Help. We will teach you how to catch fish – it’s what we do! From how to hold and operate rods and reels to special techniques allowing you to catch more fish, we’ll guide you through the process in a positive, no-pressure, professional manner. Fishing is fun – we keep it that way.
Do you need a fishing license? In a word – no. You are covered under our licenses!
FYI, So You Know:
Our Captains are the best in the business. All are:
- Licensed by the US Coast Guard, which requires extensive and documented time on the water, rigorous training, and comprehensive testing
- Fully insured
- Trained in CPR and First Aid

We love fishing with Spin, Fly, and Conventional tackle.
Excellent Gear. A famous guide once said, “Life’s too short to fish with inferior tackle.” We agree! Our boats feature St. Croix Avid and Tidemaster series spinning rods over Shimano Stradic and Quantum Cabo reels spooled with PowerPro line. Our Fly rods are either TFO or Sage, fitted with Tibor or TFO BVK reels. We have 6, 8, and 10 weight available.
Advanced Techniques. Spin fishermen may throw top water or suspended plugs, soft baits, or a variety of live bait with different presentations. Fly fishermen will enjoy our selection of locally productive flies and stripping techniques, some of which may surprise a few folks. When bottom fishing we’ll usually use a mixture of live or cut bait.
Stretch Your Arms Out. Depending on the season, we will generally have an opportunity to catch some fish you can barely handle.
If you didn't know better, you would think that the bay and the gulf are all full of fish waiting to be caught. Everywhere Capt. Dave took us, the boys caught fish, a lot of fish!
The best moment for me was when Capt. Dave put them on a hole with Grouper and Red Snapper. He told them to get ready to reel hard. When the 1st fish hit, the expression on my son's face was shock! He'd never had a fish that large on the hook before.
Capt. Dave was prepared for everything, a patient and encouraging teacher, a true professional. When we're back in the area, we'll 'hook' up with Captain Dave again!
